Purity of our products

We are committed to the purity of our products, and our technological capabilities and process know-how allow us to produce our goods without added preservatives or artificial colouring. We are thus committed to guaranteeing Elsdorf natural quality at any time.

Quality Management

Good products are their own best praise—which is why the consistently high level of process and product quality is Elsdorf’s top priority.  In order to ensure the consistency of our standards, we are working with our own lab for microbiological, physical and chemical analyses, as well as a large number of employees in our quality management and quality assurance departments.

Annual award winning company 

The results of our efforts are regular certifications and seals of approval awarded in quality competitions held by independent institutes. For example, Heideblume is one of the regular winners of the “PriMax”, an annual DLG award for European dairies that achieve the best overall results in international quality competitions.

Certificates 

Another safeguard for our quality policy is our programme of regular "system checks" with audits according to generally accepted standards for quality management systems. For many years, we have thus been able to achieve the highest level of the International Food Standard (IFS). In addition, both companies are certified according to OHSAS 18001 (occupational health and safety management).

Milk suppliers 

Our raw milk suppliers are participating in the supplier quality system “QM-Milch”, and their compensation is partly based on their results of the required audits. In addition, supplier consultants work with the farmers, so that the milk supply meets the established quality guidelines.
